Porrua

Porrua is located in Asturias (north of Spain).

It is a village that is surrounded by mountains but that is extremely close to the sea. It is only two kilometers away from Poo’s beach, three from Celorio’s beach and five from the four beaches of Barro and Niembro.

Porrua is a cattle-raising village whose lifestyle is hard to understand without the proximity of the mountains.

Our guests will feel at home and they will enjoy the quality of the rural lifestyle. 

They will be able to visit the coast of Llanes (that has more than thirty beaches), got to the Cuera’s mountain range (that is so close than one can almost touch it) or visit the magnificent landscape of Picos de Europa and Lagos de Covadonga. 

The surroundings of Porrua are full of oaks, ancient chesnuts, and holm oaks. There is also the Ethnographical Museum or the traditional cheese factory where the delicious fresh or goat Porrua’s cheese is made.
